Kevin Chesney – Chief Executive Officer
Kevin Chesney founded Acesis and serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Kevin Chesney has over 20 years of experience as a software engineer, architect, entrepreneur and software industry executive. Most recently, Kevin was vice president and chief software architect for Dorado Corporation—an enterprise-class on-demand solution provider in the real estate finance industry, originally funded by CrossPoint Ventures. At Dorado, Kevin successfully oversaw the design of all software development within the company, including the company’s flagship solution, which was the basis for GreenPoint Mortgage winning the Wharton Infosys Business Transformation Award in 2003. In this role, Kevin gained a comprehensive purview of Dorado and the real estate finance industry, which allowed him to participate extensively in customer-facing activities including marketing, professional services, and pre-sales.
Prior to Dorado, Kevin was co-founder and principal engineer for iLuminate Systems, a software company focused on the development of large-scale, object-oriented, database-intensive commercial Internet applications that brokered services between businesses and consumers. Prior to iLuminate, Kevin served in senior engineering roles at a number of other companies including Wandel & Goltermann (now JDSU), Network Intelligence, and Hewlett Packard. At Hewlett Packard, Kevin headed the team of engineers responsible for bringing HP Distributed Smalltalk to market. He also co-authored the CORBA 2.0 IDL Smalltalk Language Mapping specification.
Kevin graduated with distinction with an M.S. in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University and B.A. degrees in Economics and Psychology from Westmont College.
